As we embrace mindfulness, we often experience a greater awareness and depth of experience during sessions of guided practice. Sometimes when we return to our daily lives it is more challenging to sustain that expansive state of being. How may we integrate the experience and wisdom learnt during retreats, courses, periods of self study and exploration?
The Daily Moment aspires to support us bridge this gap.
Everyday we will have our own Dr. Oshi, share wisdom, her own experience of integration, with mini exercises from her global community project, “Heart of Gaia”
She will share with us wisdom from ancient wisdom traditions and help us understand the cycles and rhythms of nature that can support our lives. We will create a space for us to share our own experiences, ask questions, and get to know each other.
The Daily Moment will be shared with an opportunity to interact with other members via our Facebook group. It will honour the lunar cycle and begin on 1st February, the second new moon of 2022. Dr. Oshi’s style is soulful, creative, and anchored in a deep love of our Earth. Threads of her life as a doctor, scientist, and artist shine through as she helps people connect.
Each month will have a theme. We will share the theme via the weekly Mindfulness after Cam bulletin and this web page. We would very much love to see a dialogue open up in our community, with discussion and sharing that supports the growth of our members and their loved ones. It is free to join and grow together.

The Daily Moment project commenced on the 1st of February 2022. It was the date of the new moon and Chinese New Year; the year of the water tiger. February is also the month of Valentine's Day. This was a special time of year to reflect and embrace the natural rhythms of new beginnings, love, and leadership.
Everyday members from Mindfulness After Cam have the opportunity to place their attention on an affirmation which embodies the thoughts, feelings, and actions of a society which is mindful, mature, and aware.
The affirmation could be practiced for a few seconds on its own, for approximately 3-5 minutes using the shorter 7 step version (outlined on the Daily moment image) or a longer 15 minute version which includes a guided meditation (included below).
Each affirmation is like a seed. A seed we plant on the terrain of our lives. We allow it to grow and teach us. We reflect on the cumulative effects of the daily moments. Small daily changes which create a mindful joyous life have an exponential effect at the end of one year.
The Daily Moment is a gentle process free of judgement. It is flexible and you may integrate it into your life as you choose and grow with it. We look back at the moments completed and remind ourselves of the process that helps us create a mindful Earth.
Our goal is to make our journeys mindful, fun, and creative. Each month has a theme which we hope inspires our members to contemplate and explore the highest potentials of humanity.
In March, Oshi will explore the hero/heroines journey. We look at the steps in the archetypical journey and learn to apply it to our own lives with mindfulness and wisdom. We will begin with "The call ..."
Is there a dream or goal in life you have been ignoring ? Now is the time to explore it with us.
In April, Oshi will explore the wisdom of superheroes/heroines... from Wonder Woman's lasso, to Spiderman's web, we will explore mythical, historical and real life individuals and communities who have/had unique talents and skills. We will learn to embody them in our own lives.
